Description:
I was working on this song last night and most of this morning, trying to get it together. Kind of an electronic/80's type song. It kind of reminds me of Abba a little. This may end up being a collaboration piece, just waiting for the final ok. Let me know if anyone has any suggestions on things I should add or change.

Lyrics:
In my youth I knew love,
much different than I know today
Faded pictures of lost times that have gone away
Still I hold out and hope I can love again
There must be someone, somewhere, somehow make me love again.

To kiss your mouth and feel your touch
It torpedos my mind
I never understood why you left me behind
We can hold out for hope, we can hold out for dreams, we can hold out for our luck.
The only thing I need right now is your love.

Too many choices change the courses of our lives
Too few answers can confuse the questions of the mind
Where do I want to be?
And how do I get there?
This is the challenge I've shown myself
The choice there still to decide.

Now I'm older
Touch of grey
I stiil can't make up my mind
I look back at all the mistakes and try to restrategize(is this even a word?)
And still I hold out and hop i can love again
There is the one perfect girl in this world that I can love again.

She don't want me
She dont need me
She don't love me anymore
But I need her
And I want her
I love her forevermore

Someone new
Someone bright
To light up my life
Carry me through the night

Could be a companion song to "I Will Survive." You've got a great voice, but put a disco queen diva on this track and it will really come alive.

I really dislike this genre, so I don't feel qualified to vote on this song. I wanted to add a note because I've been checking out a number of your pieces and have been impressed. Your songwriting is really solid even as you move between fairly disparate styles of music. I'm looking forward to your next entry.

on a really tight piece. Like the fretless bass and the
general arrangement. The wordage is there and well
writen but...aaahem...your not putting out the power pack
w/ the vocals. Try more air intake and letting it come
from the diaphram pushing up the air form the lungs and
sing from there. You allow to much nazil to over run
your potential. I can hear your not tone deff as you sing
in key but your not projecting to your potential. Listen to
some opera and try doing scales up and down, (ten
minutes a day), in that venue to practice with for better
control. Bypass the nazil tones they sould be used only
when your in a range where your really straining to keep
up with the pitch. You have power but you haven't
harnest the clearity and pure tone to make yourself a
really dynamic vocalist. I hope you'll read this with the
adult understanding that that i'm trying to be honest with
my delivery to the awarness in this field. Not intended as
a slight or belittlement. You have and will have more
really good works coming. I hope this dribble may help
and exersize that vocal box of yours, it's a good one.

This has got to be the best piece of constructive criticism I've recieved on this site so far. I've gotten some good feedback, but nothing like this before, and I thank you for it. I am definitely taking your advice and trying some vocal exercises everyday. Now if everyone would comment like this, we would have a much better community and some great songs!

Again thanks!
