I thought this was good overall- I had a couple ideas that would keep the on the 8's thing at bay. Garage band has a filter that thickens drums up, that would do it for me, otherwise, sometimes a sample or 2 will help an instrumental piece- like with the name of this song being "the streets are empty" maybe the sound of a lone car passing by would do it. Definitely a solid and respectable effort though.

Thought piano was very nice. To get more in the mood of lonliness that
the title implies, I would have dropped the drums and gone far a more
ethereal sound letting the synths carry the rhythm and chords and
throwing in some sounds that might evoke wind whistling around a
corner or snow crunching.

It does seem a bit busy in the rhythm department to be called "The Streets Are Empty" - but it's a nice mix in any case. What seems to be missing to these ears is a little bass. Having worked with those particular piano loops before, I know that there are some really nice bass loops that would work very nicely together. Good composition!
