Funny, Bill,
...I just drove past the church where this was written about an hour
ago, coming back from my inlaws...it's in Wayland, Massachusetts... So
I was thinking of this song as I turned on the computer...

I think you pulled this off just fine. When I used to manage a folk music
store, I heard an awful lot of ragtime, which can get same-y after a
while, but this has a nice rolling rhythm while retaining the beauty of
the melody of the original version...

Recorded very well as always...

So clean
How do you play like that? Wonderful interpretation. Beautiful runs up and down the neck, and I agree with EJH about the songs ability to avoid redundancy despite the genre. Thank you for posting it.

instrument. Always room to get better though!

delightful!
I love how you recast a timeless melody into a whole new framework, so
that it is so different and beautifully rewritten that it stands on its own as
pretty much a whole new picee of music. Very nicely written and as usual,
extraordinarily well played and recorded... sweet stuff!

Bill, I found stuff by you a year ago and then lost where you were. I lloved your music then and now that I've found it again, it really reminds me of how reat your renditions are. Keep it up.
