Hard luck, tough town, lotsa soul Now that's a smokey instrumental! Love the tone on the lead. Is that a result of the blue tube? The groove is very invocative of the title and image. Gritty, down tempo, and soulful. Awesome! Check out my latest song called Loop It or Lose It 9

Hard luck, tough town, lotsa soul Thanks everyone. The Blue Tube really just boosts the signal. The guitar is supposed to be based on the Dumble Bluesmaster. It is a combination of two Logic amp simulators, British Clean and American Gain. I bought Tone Heaven for $20.00 which is just a collection of presets for GB/Logic effects. Why pay someone for a bunch of presets? They don't all sound that great but some are great and they give you a better understanding on how some of the effects can be used for varied results. I almost thought this Dumble might be a little muddy but some of the other qualities worked well. If you turn it up on a good set of monitors it's not bad. Thanks for the tip Sounds like Tone Heaven would be worth the cheap money- I like the tone on this a lot. Plus you play it with so much soul- make the guitar sing. There are only a couple of guitar players here that can carry a song like this without vocals and keep it fresh all the way through. You, my friend, are one of them. Great song! Very Cool, Z! I love the rhythm guitar effects sound juxtaposed to that Blue Tube preamp solo guitar. It gives your lead work a rich sound. $20 bucks, huh? Hmmmm. And I'm a sucker for that Hammond B3. It really pulled me in to this tune from the start, along with that kickin' bass. I really dig this arrangement! Good job! Not Bad Good song. Very nice guitar work. Smooth. The drums kind of killed it for me. It just didn't blend with the rest. The snair hits were just too hard and it became repetitive after a while. A new drum track would do wonders for this peice. Otherwise, the song was very well performed. Cheers..... Marcel. Check out my latest song called Funkalicious

I don't know I've been listening to your stuff and it's so clean and well executed. Just the scores don't seem to match. Is it because not everyone plays guitar? Check out my latest song called Pigs Fly
