good start Thanks for the comments. When you double track do you simply duplicate the track or do you modify the pitch of the second track. I've heard of this but haven't tried it yet, but I'm planning to go back and do this to the track. Again, thanks man for the comments. And thanks for the advice! Use the vol control My advice is to use the volume control on the voc track .... I know its hard to hear our own voices ...and a lot tend to turn it down .... but its a good track and good song ... just turn up the vol on the voc track ..... Use the vol control Thanks for the advice. I think that the other tracks need to be reduced as I made sure the vocal track was maxed. I also think that a really good microphone might make the difference. But, this is all a learning curve I'm on so any comments is cool, thanks! Check out my latest song called Hot to trot

the vocals are a little quiet. i have that problem alot. if you haven't done so, double tracking them helps, you said it's your first attempt singing, pretty good for a first attempt better then my attempts at singing, but all you can do is keep practicing. the instrumental sounds pretty good. i think the vocal part may be a little high. just keep working on, it's a really good start.
