Description:
This is a song I did a while ago, but I wanted to resubmit it again, to see how it would do. It's all loops from GB. There are some things about it I don't like, but lyrically I think it's one of my strongest songs. The song is pretty self-explanatory, let me know what you think.

Hardware:
I-mac

Software:
GB,

I love your voice..I wish I could hear it more........I am new to the whole home studio thing ....but I have found that doubling a track makes it stronger.....I have been doubling my vocals and this has given them a more prominent feeling against the accompianment.bulk up your vocals, it can only get better from there..... good work.................todd

Thanks for the comment t-bone.

I had originally done this song when I first found MacJams. I think it was the fourth or fifth song I posted here. At that time I was messing around with GB and my I-Mac(Had just bought it), so I was still figuring out how things worked, also, the vocals were done through the microphone built into the mac, so that's one of the reasons they sound the way they do. I really want to re-sing this one, but I don't think I could do it as well.

Anyway, thanks again and I look forward to checking out your stuff.

Sometimes great...sometimes plainly awesome &mdash 01/07/06 - 11:08:44 PM
This song sounds very well constructed and the melodies are lush,
especially with the piano. This will be even more appreciated if you
posted the lyrics. I totally admired the catchy melodies.

You have a powerful voice, nice timbre and confident, but the recording
seemed to reduce it to the background. The piano kinda drowned it out a
little bit in some areas. This song has multiple strenghts: your voice, your
piano playing and the composition itself. The production and recording
can be a little better but that doesnt take much away from a great song!
9-9-8-9.

Did you say you used piano loops?...That will not take any merits from your
work... Your ability to put these loops together to come up with an awesome
song.

Thanks for the comments Leon.

Yeah, the whole song is made with the loops found in GB. I just slowed down the tempo, and messed around a little bit with the note editor towards the end of the song. If you liked the way this one was put together with the loops, check out my other song The Bus which is all loops from GB also. I think you'll be very surprised.
