Description
This piece was derived from Bach's Menuet in G.

Hope you like it, I worked with Jam Pack 4 as well using staccato strings, cello etc. duplicated and panned etc.

DANG !
Dang Darn it Tiler ... do you ever miss a string??? Very Pretty ... you have now earned your OWN DIRECTORY in my hard drive !!!! D/L-ed ! Very nice indeed .... I especially liked the opposing harmony notes about 70% into the song .... (I'm sure there is a proper term for those notes ... flats ... or halfs .... or something, but since I know nothing other than how does it sound to me .... my "opposing harmony" term will just have to stand.

True Mastery
Making the Difficult appear Easy and Relaxed (as in "No Big Deal"). Whew.

Again the interpretation makes this all new to hear. Pack 4 brings some
nice touches to the virtuoso guitar work. Truly Splendid and Spirited.

Best,
rtc

I only wish....
those JamPak 4 strings were played as well as the ones on
your guitar!

Another lovely, original adaptation of a beautiful piece of
music.

Thanks for a nice one to end the workday with.

I only wish....
Rereading my comments from last night I am realizing they could
be misinterpreted. I was implying that your arrangement of the
JamPak 4 strings was inferior. They sounded great. Rather that
your playing "live" the strings of your guitar exceeds even the
quality of those JamPakkers. Cheers.

I only wish....
I am now certifiably a typing idiot. I typed: " I WAS implying that your arrangement of the JamPak 4 strings was inferior." It should read:
"I WASN'T implying that your arrangement of the JamPak 4 strings
was inferior."
Sorry for the confusion.

When are Simon and Miguel going to provide proofreading services??

tiler
take a freaking breath will you?????

you are more than a guitarists guitarist, and all around nice fellow, you
are a natural wonder!!!!

in awe

but i could live without the strings....they don't damage the piece,
really...but the guitar speaks for itself.

great great playing, as always....

very special sound
You have a certain sound Bill. I guess if I heard you on the radio I could say it was you playing. The sound you put out is very suited to them classic pieces you're so good with.

I'm stunned about the tempo you come up with new songs in. You are a guitar machine that pours out lovely tunes with genius performances in sweet harmony:)

Very nice rendition
What I like when Bill plays is that he always comes up with is own version. What a nice interpretation and added flare to such a fine piece.

Thanks for sharing

As usual, fine guitar work
But, if I may, the high strings throughout the whole piece were mostly
distracting. I could have lived without the strings, but i would have also
appreciated them more if the violins had started off an octave lower, then
you brought them up to the 'soaring strings' octave on the last recap.
Very interesting little harmonic twist about two thirds of the way through,
along with the rhythmic swing gave it a nice personal, up to date touch.

Your playing is great...
...and the recording of your playing is great...

I'd love to hear the string-less track of this. kristyjo may have a point
there about bringing the soaring strings down, giving the tune an
underpinning....I don't think you NEED anything else on the treble end...

What a nice interpretation! I really do appreciate classical music reinterpreted, especially when it is a simple and fresh as this one! Very nice work.

Another winner
Hi Bill, wonderful playing as usual. I do agree, however, that the high
strings are distracting. If they were an octave lower they would then
compliment Betsy.

God bless,

Rick

i love it!
I love to hear a classical piece on guitar! And your playing is exceptional as always! Its cool that you have some strings for backup! playing like this makes me feel like an even worse guitarplayer then I am ;). The sound you get from the acoustic is very good! Impressive stuff mister Tiler!

Relaxing...
...on so many levels. When I go to the art gallery and look at modern art,
I think I subconsciously find myself thinking "I could paint that". Your
music allows me to instantly check those thoughts at the door and just
enjoy your gift and your talent. My brother Ed recommended that I check
out your guitar work and this piece is a great showcase. Wow.

Peace,
Paul

Bach-folk/guitar
This is great, jacques Loussier did this in the medium of Jazz in the 70 in his "play Bach" series, your folk approach is unique. I feel that the "strings" in the back gound are almost superfluous. The guitar is so crisp and neat it would stand alone.
