It's a messy fun looped creation with the Nutz kids!!!
That's Emma on the kazoo stomp, Abby and Jacob (oh, and me) on the additional vocals... John Spencer Blues Explosion on the drum kit and guitar... and some other stuff.

You have achieved new levels in fatherhood, Eric. I thought you had
reached the pinnacle with "jitterspook," but the volume of abuse and
exploitation seems to be even greater in this one. I imagine children
being corporally punished into participating in these songs, and it
makes me glad. Children as loops; children as props, as it was meant
to be. Bang, Bang!

Hey Cyd, this all started with a videotape of my girl, Emma, stomping
around and playing the kazoo. Next, there was a section of videotape
where the kids and I did the rest of the vocals (the "bang bang, hey hey,
clap your hands, and the singing at the end) without any sort of beat.
Next, I laid the vocals over the stomping beat. I had to cut them up to
make them fit with the beat. Later, I was listening to John Spencer Blues
Explosion on the way home from work one day and realized that one
tune had a great beat and guitar bit that might work with it. So... I just
"borrowed" those sections with a little snip snip and made them fit.
Finally, I laid in a few loops and effects... voila! Zany kids tune. Usually
my tunes only start with an idea, or sound, and then I just build from
there and try to make it work... [ Reply to This ]

Well, your efforts have rewarded us. A very fine job of everything ya did ta get
ya there. I'll bet your kids loved it. I do wonder what kinds of an affect this
will have on their future descions though - Hang around so that we can

ONE! photo would it... Hehe : )
