Description

this is a song i wrote with my friend stance venckmann under the moniker 'the real caution templar appreciation trio'. it is about someone who reads the bible and forms an opinion (no matter how wrong and misled) and then pushes his views on everyone...sorta.

the 'harry holt' line :- harold holt was an australian prime minister who went swimming one day and dissapeared forever. 'gough' (whitlam) was another prime minister of australia but he got kicked out of office by the governor general..

we have nothing against jesus christ personally, if anything, we respect the man. we also know that he'd be good for a laugh............

hahahahahahahhaha......yeah your right.
we got the idea for the song when we entered a couple of songs in an online music comp that had heaps of christian members. the site didnt advertise that it was christian and i dont think it is but these people used to give us warped comments and also cheated in the comp. so we wrote this song and were going to enter it in there comp but found macjams and got over them.
posting it so i can gauge whether or not its worth recording properly or not. maybe some slight lyric changes are in order as it might alienate me quite a bit. lol. but it really is tongue in cheek 'cept for the fact that i do believe that judas had more sex appeal than god or jesus...........

hahhaahaha cheers t.m.i..........any comments (especially good) on this song make me laugh.....this song makes me laugh and was heaps of fun to write and record..........the proper way anger should be vented........imagine a punk grindcore band with george bush on vox and guitar, john howard on bass and tony blair on drums....no more wars just really bad punk grindcore songs....but we would all be happy !!!

Good demo. Still has the marks of good punk. I don't know how well it
would be received here at MJ, as we have a pretty diverse group of people,
many of whom would be immediately put off by it.

I think a lot of people think the punk thing has been done enough, and
you're doomed to being compared to everybody's memories of punk in
the past. I think there is still plenty of life in it.
