Still loving your stuff thanks so much man.... i always look forward to your music and the reviews you have for mine. you seem like quite the schooled musician and i respect your criticisms. really. yeah, with everything so complex in timbres, i try to keep thing harmonically simple..... but i'm trying to use unusual melodics and harmonics...... thanks so much - again. The Composer
I particularly love how you've glitched up the guitar and vocal parts
through this song along with the drumming. I've been just waiting for
you to do that (if you hadn't noticed)... and even better, you havn't
gone overboard with it, the smooth middle section contrasts
fantastically with the rest of the piece and not everything is glitching all
the time so you've got your layers going real nicely.
Incidently, I quite like your ear for this type of music... with some of
the more electronic music I'm writing at the moment, I keep finding
myself getting trapped in the idea that I'm working with a band instead
of a purely digital world... so often enough I keep comming back to
some of your music to have a listen for ideas about variations of
sounds, structure... timbre and the like.
To a certain extent, this piece is sort of one riff after another... but
because the chord progression are interesting enough, the music is
supposed to be that meditative type and theres enough other stuff
happening it doesn't really matter that much.
Highest score ever! (Total 8.5 and thats high for me... obviously)
