Description:
this is a little thing i've redone.

just got my guitar back with an LR Baggs iBeam pickup installed.

this is unmodified sound straight from the guitar - no EQ.

i might not record again for a while unless i'm just in a bad mood right now. this thing picks up EVERY little flaw in my playing and i can't deal with it.

but we'll see. enjoy anyway.

thanks for pointing out that i'm just an unbalanced crazy person - i need that
every now and again. but just for the record, i'm WAY more sane than that bear
of yours will ever be!

nice tune, your playing was a pleasure to listen to. I try to listen to all
acoustic pieces out there, I'll be looking for your next one.............. I am
always spending a portion of my day giving up on my art and telling
myself I should apply myself in my "day job". ...... #$%^ THAT! ....keep
playing, music is what keeps us sane.....................thanks for the
tune...........t

Flaws? &mdash 01/13/06 - 12:10:13 PM
Try flawless, I can't hear them. I too listen to all the acoustic pieces out here that I can. I don't care what you hear, I hear some very nice playing.

Thanks for the op to hear your work,
Clee

Sounds good to me &mdash 01/13/06 - 01:08:25 PM
This is nice, the chord change, the rhythm, the picking, the dynamics of it are very well-done. I think you're being a little hard on yourself, maybe because you know what you had intended. But for me, not having a clue, this is a really nice piece of guitar work. Are there lyrics? Would love to hear what melodies you'd compose over this. Be encouraged - and keep experimenting with your sound, it's a quest that some people never quit throughout their entire careers!

nice playing &mdash 01/14/06 - 01:23:54 PM
Introspective and well paced. I like the way you move with the tide.
Keep bonding with that guitar!

hey mister U, I think this is great. nothing like incredibly nuanced recording medium to focus on your playing. you passed with flying colors. I have a pickup in my guitar, but I like that for live playing. you are correct, those pickups don't miss anything.

Sounded good to me &mdash 01/18/06 - 03:09:20 AM
You ought to try adding some bits and pieces from GarageBand to
accompany your guitar...give it a bit more oomph. Nice playing,
though.

iBeam sound great &mdash 01/31/06 - 09:36:18 AM
wow, that iBeam sounds pretty damn good! i havn't had a pick-up in my
acoustic since that one day many years ago i was doing a studio session
and we mic'd up my guitar and ran a direct line from my pick-up. the
pick-up signal was so bad i fineally reached into the soundhole of my
guitar and ripped out all the wires. the producer freaked a little but no
one was hurt. i'm gonna check that iBeam out some more.
thanks for sharing your music!

this is the first track of your that i picked to listen. sadly, tonight,
it will be the only one (time cruch)

but i am very pleasantly surprised to hear this. this is intimate and
meditative, with just enough brush of emotiveness that it makes
you read into it. or, i suppose, listen in.

fucking weird.
