This is nice Thanks for taking the time to listen to and critique my piece! Your complaint of the drums being too harsh is not uncommon for one of my songs. I've heard this several times before. My only response is: this is my style. I follow in the footsteps of Richard D. James. I contrast delicate melodies with relentless beats. That is what av01der is. Take it or leave it. Again, thank you for your review. I hope you will keep listening, because I do occasionally stray from my stuttering IDM beats... --- ((( d•_•b ))) Check out my latest song called dawn/drive

Dig on the roundness Defying classification - that's av01der for ya! You think he's ambient? How 'bout some hard edged 808-influenced drums! You wanna call him a closet techno-head? He'll set the darn thing in three to defy your 4/4 dancing shoes. It's always nice to find a good synth lead. Normally, I'd say I want a B part, but since this is really more about "theme and variations", I just went with it. Thanks for the defiance! Check out my latest song called Piece of Heaven

nice contrasts. i love the beats. cool arpeggiator as well. I hear you're buying a synthesizer and an arpeggiator and are throwing your computer out the window because you want to make something real. seriously though this is sweet. fit for a princess! Very airy and mellow, full of nice warm textures, love the bubbly arpeggios that come in a quarter of the way through - the drums seem a bit harsh for such a lilting, light bit of romantic atmosphere. Otherwise, very, very nice.
