Description:
I made this song with my microKORG synthesizer as a controller for Garage Band.
I didn't use ANY GB loops. I did all beats and bass lines and everything myself.

Lyrics:
For several hours I watched
Everything that I held dear was raped or torn in two
Now everything has changed

You watched from behind my back

A good source of information
But you were never full
No you were never full

What's the asking price
For a good friend these days?

[spoken] I was never even sure if it was a good idea to associate with you and now i doesn't seem like you or me know anything about anything that we know or anything we do

This is cool &mdash 01/14/06 - 02:51:38 PM
Very trippy! You're definitely thinking outside the box. I like the programming and you've got serious emotion coming out of the vocals and lyrics. Now, I don't know if it was your intention to obscure the main lyrics with the sort of hushy-panned vox, but they're so obscuring, I can't really hear what's being sung/wailed in the background. I think a compromise could be reached with those panned vocals coming down a bit and then the lead vocal coming forward. It's a cool effect, it certainly conveys some of the emotions you've got going on. The very important things you're saying just get totally buried by the music and other voices. Flip that around and it will definitely stand out as a track more. Good work!

Nice ideas… &mdash 01/14/06 - 03:23:03 PM
but those ideas lack focus. I know that's partly what the
psychedelic genre is all about but all great songs in that genre are
still great songs in their own right. I think with some tightening up
this could be a very cool track.

Intense &mdash 01/15/06 - 01:59:37 PM
I like the wandering. The song feels like a moment in time. The keyboard riff that kicks the song off is dirty and sinewy and cool. I like how it hits on a few sour rones with the pitch shift before it resolves. I think the tempo is perfect to make this song so hypnotic.

If anything, I'd like to hear bigger production. Bigger hits on the drums and a deeper bass.

Like it a lot.

Nice but reconsider genre &mdash 01/20/06 - 04:23:56 PM
This is a nice song but usually synths and analog beats are under the
techno heading. Nice array of repeating beats beatiful song.
(sorry about the pun I just slapped myself for that one)
