Description:
This is a theme I started several months ago revisited with additional instruments. I wanted to try for something of a tribalesque sound and wound up with something sounding like it belongs to a Pacific Island monarchy.

Short, but sweet! &mdash 01/16/06 - 11:53:22 PM
Ok...I really like this!
There is so much you could do with it if you expanded it.
It sounds rather medieval-ish to me...
Very cool! :)

Thanks! It certainly turned out a lot more medieval than I expected due to how the instruments wound up sounding after rendering. But I definitely think I could try continuing it.

Exotic, but... &mdash 01/17/06 - 11:08:03 PM
Too short..left me wanting for more..sounded like just an intro with a
grand middle still waiting to happen. looking forward to the middle and
ending part of your potentially-awesome song :) Love your mixture of
ethnic and classical instruments... a rather bold and adventurous foray
into untried territories of music..you might be breaking new ground
here..at least to my ears this is new and refreshing.

Once again, thanks for listening and for your honest and insightful comments!
<br>I always went in with the intention of this being a brief theme for some sort of ceremonial entrance and nothing more. No development, etc. However, everyone seems to think I ought to expand on it, so maybe I'll do just that! :)

Pacific? &mdash 01/18/06 - 12:14:55 PM
Mmmm, I dunno - this comes off sounding really Celtic to me, with some Elizabethian flair mixed in as well. It's a very delightful bit of musical prose, flows sweet and pure.
