Lyrics
I got a little story
That I got to tell
It’s all nice and sunny
But I feeling just like hell

One day it’s all good
Cruzzing right thru life
When you least expect it
Things can change like that

Talking about my great friend
He loved his family
With his life mate, Nancy
And his daughter Danielle

He loved to play the outdoors
He hardly said no
What time do you want me over
So that we can go

Mountain biking….skiing in the snow
He be Geocaching everywhere he go

Dirt bike riding, boy he flew
He loved to play bike polo
Every Sunday too

We know that you are watching
Over all of us
We sure miss you Jerry
Tokin cannabis

I had a little story
That I had to tell
It’s still nice and sunny
And I’m feeling very well

One day it’s all good
Cruzzing right thru life
When you least expect it
Things can change like that
X 2

change like that
X 4

Nicely done
Hey Spanglish. I also used this guitar loop awhile back, but I think you
may have made better use of it than I. I hope to begin posting tunes in
the near future. Than you'll see what I mean.

How did you record your vocals? What kind of Mic? I've had trouble in this
area.

Thanks very much for your kind words...I used the mic that is on my power
book g4 built in and I did two vocal recordings and joined them together to
get that effect that was done by mistake...please let me know when you
submitt yours.

Spanglish:

I've since posted a bunch of my tunes. They're all instrumentals though, and on
the heavy end of prog-rock mostly. Perhaps in a couple months (after an
equipment upgrade) I'll try doing some vocal stuff. I finally downloaded this
piece. Good stuff. Fine lyrics.

Right on, bro
This is a simple song of love and brotherhood that celebrates life and reminds me, all of us, how precious our moments together are. It truly is a folk song, it brings back memories of So. Cal and Mexicali, Ry Cooder and Ruben Blades. Sorry for your loss, bro - but happy that you have found a beautiful way to honor your friend and bless us all. Catchy little tune, it is SO stuck in my head!

I enjoyed this
Great track, I liked the story and your production is sounding good. The
vocals are good for using the built in mic. I admire wht you've done here,
keep it up

Hi, my name is Pamela Smith and I am Jerry Gradisher's cousin from Florida (orginally from Akron, Ohio). I grew up with Jerry when he was a little boy. Then after his mom (my mom's little sister) died, the kids and their dad moved to California. Unforntunately we lost touch over the years. My sister called today to inform me of Jerry's death. She said that if I went online and put his name in I would come across sites about him. In doing this I saw your entry, saw his picture and listened to the song you wrote about him, in honor of his life. I never had the opportunity to know Jerry as an adult, but, by the lyrics of your song he was a wonderful person, father, and friend. I just wanted to write to you to thank you for this tribute and to let you know how meaningful it is to extended members of his family. Your tribute is special in that it allows us to know that his life was good and significant. Thank you again!

Melody melody melody
Nice little story. You might think about changing the descending
melody at least once during the song. It gave me listener fatigue. Just a
thought.

Manchester, Ohio
The (Akron) Manchester High School class of '79, which Jerry was a member of in his younger days, will miss him and think of him as we gather for our 30 year reunion tonight. Nice song.
