american like... &mdash 01/17/06 - 10:44:31 PM
but sort of french - nearing cajun music. :) A fun, happy country song
from another dimension.

Thanks! What do you mean with another "dimension"?
I'm surprised, that my song has something like "French"...

Interesting mix! &mdash 01/18/06 - 10:54:47 AM
I like this - and it's funny, I hear just a hint of Biergarten music in this, which shows that the country-western/Tex-Mex/Biergarten music is not too far removed from each other. The bass could easily be a tuba with the banjo representing clarinets and the melody line has a very Euro feel, but you also managed to capture the essence of the famous cowboy songs. I think you're on to something here! This is fun, I did the fantasy language - this could be a cowpoke's crazy riding song. The chord ascension towards the end is very fanciful - this whole tune is like a crazy American cartoon! Love it!

Interesting mix! &mdash 01/18/06 - 11:25:53 AM
Wow, a very good song review! Yes, my intention was to improvise a funny imitation of a country song, because I can't sing real country style as a typical German guy...;-)

this song has a grand old time recording sound and carry-through, its actually quite refreshing.

Interesting classification &mdash 01/21/06 - 10:08:37 AM
As you should know, I've improvised this song (instrumental with keyboard and fantasy language) at once. I'm surprised and pleased to read your comment with interesting classification. Thanks!

Great ride &mdash 01/22/06 - 03:00:19 AM
Would you mind if I played it to some (Country professional) friends of
mine and see if they felt like writing (American English ) words for it? - I
totally understand if that just ain't what you want. Cheers, Shaky.
p.s.; One of these days I'll figure out how to put a link on these things, In
the meantime, check out THE UNCAS (Googl'll find them) for great psycho
polka.

Great ride &mdash 01/25/06 - 03:58:49 AM
Thank you for your positive feedback. As described in my bio, all my songs are improvisations live recorded at once including my vokals, which are all made up freestyle fantasy languages. It is not possible to cut my voice afterwards. What a pitty for others to sing to my instrumental parts only. But I had collaborations with additional vocals by female singers afterwards. All was done through internet mp3 file exchanges.
If you would like to listen to such a result of collaboration you can listen to. Here is a link:

Could be better &mdash 02/21/06 - 03:34:28 PM
Overall I thought this song could use some work. There really isn't any true beat to it. It kind of just runs together. The singing is a little sloshy sounding without real substance.

This sounds very German to my ears, but I do appreciate your cowboy
accent in your singing.

I can't really see a cowboy singing this kind of a song unless he was
punching cattle in Baveria.
