Rain (81)Sprinklers (1)Love (945)hate (43)wine (10)
Description:
You will find this song on my list as 'Shingles' and on Scotch Marley's list as Ubring the rain. I'm finalizing the mix...(Scotch Finally got me his vocal tracks...) So have a listen and enjoy. I love what Scotch did with this tune. The Version on Scotch's list is actually missing bass so you will see a huge improvement on this one. Feedback always welcom.

Lyrics:
You Bring The Rain

No leg to stand on
No hand to hold
The things I want
No eyes to see it through
No ears to hear it all from you again

You bring the rain

. Just when I thought it was
. Just when I thought it was lost cause
. You've come through, I see you I see you're on the edge
. You're my old friend

It's been precarious
It's been a long time since you've gone
There's been some hard times
But then again I see it all works out again

You bring the rain

I can't help but think you may
Let me down and walk away

. I won't forget you, no not this time
. Can't you see the promise in my eyes?
. I won't forget you, I won't let you down
. Not now, not ever again

had to turn it down, levels a bit high, but so am I. Wuz that guitar done in
one take? It's like Alterpunk. Clean vocals. Understandable. Heavy.
interesting and done,.

Proffesional sound.Good drummer, good vocals maybe need to be up a bit,in line with the guitar.Slightly reminds me of U2 - not a bad thing though if your'e gigging.I'd be up dancing if you were playing in my local pub and drinking lotz.Cheerz

thanks for feedback &mdash 01/20/06 - 05:13:08 AM
YEa the mix is a bit hot...and after hearing the posted version , I agree
vocals up a tad....This is probably more rock/roll/pop than punk ...I
hate trying to catagorize but oh well. Drums are all loops from garage
band. There's only 2 of us in this 'band' so have to make a shortcut
here and there. Although any drummers are more than welcome to
record a real track and send it on in......hint hint

Kicks Ass! &mdash 01/20/06 - 03:32:46 PM
Yeah- I like what you guys have done with this... agree that Scotch's
vocals need to be more present.. did you double the vocal tracks? That
would also give it a more full sound.

Bass does add a ton of definition- guitars are still great. I love the tone
you get with your setup. Backing vocals and harmonies are very strong
and really help make the song.

Elation &mdash 01/25/06 - 04:15:08 PM
This one got turned WAY up on my stereo. I really dug the licks on this, and the guitar separation was very well done. The vocal performance was really good, but as with my recordings, you hear the limitation of the mic. Thanks a lot for posting this; I really enjoyed it.

Great sound! &mdash 01/26/06 - 04:56:15 PM
The guitars sound awesome, especially in the 'you bring the rain' part!

Someone who's a bit more equalisation-savy than me might be able to
be more helpful, but the overall sound needs a bit more of something,
I think - maybe bass or mid. Other than that, cool sound! Drums work
really well.

them when on. needs one wailing solo. excellent stuff
