the songwriting is good...
but the synths are a bit transparent - almost as if they are meant ot
sound real. trick out your synths a bit in the beginning. your staccato
rhythm is sensational - and your lyrics are also good. in summary, good
song but be more selective in your synths.

the songwriting is good...
Thanks, but what do you want to say with "transparent synths"?
You know, english is not my main language and sometimes i got a hard time
figuring out some metaphors.

the songwriting is good...
transparent meaning that they are blatantly synthesized but they are trying to
sound real.

your talent is obvious, however your sound in the beginning sounds a bit
garage-bandish.

Listenin as I write
Nice keyboards/piano intro.Has a dark feel to it wonder where it's gonna go.Spoken voice excellent.OK the vocals are perplexing me - almost sounds deep like crash test dummies or ramstein - not sure - is quite intriguing though.Would like to read the lyrics too.Drums excellent. Is very creative and dark. Now i turned the volume up and this song is pouring down over me like rain....In the right mood this could really kick some ass for me..like if I had alot of supressed anger I wanted to release.I enjoyed it.Cheerz

You got some interesting songwriting going on here. It sounds to me like there are som fx on the voice..Which i usually dont like, but it could bee it siuts this tune.I whish you posted the lyrics, they ar eimpossible to catch. But some of it sounds good. The songwriting, Very good!

As promised
in the forum, I have listened to some of your music. I think it is well
done but for my taste it is too predictable. To me, your stuff needs
more of an edge...some sporadically placed unexpected chord changes
for instance. Sorry, I can't offer more in the way of constructive
criticism but I hope this helps in some way.

Theres some pretty decent work done here, pretty decent song writing
(could do with a bit more of the unexpected, but its still pretty good).
I also like the combination of sounds you're using and how you're
using them. Everything is also quite nicely placed... the stereo space it
quite nice and wide which is also good.

That all being said, some of your levels are a little out. I can't hear the
bass in this song... I know its there, but its not audible. The distorted
spoken voice is also a little grating... either because its too loud or
theres a little too much top end in it (a little treble reduction would fix
that). One last thing... and I'm guessing a little here... it sounds a little
like your distorting your drum kit somehow... something thats taking
the high end out of your cymbals and high hats a little. Since they're
the main part that fits in the high frequency range and you are
distorting the drums, it might be idea to have the high hats and
cymbals playing on a different drum track... just so you can keep that
high percussion where it should be.

Nice work.

Thank you for the input. I think the problem of some levels are from the
compression. I only compressed after the bounce, and that always changes
something. I think i'll try again with the compressor on the master fader.

This is great
Rolo, you've got an amazing ear for music. You get huge numbers
from me.

The idea with Garageband is it is GARAGEBAND. WTF? Sorry. I don't
understand some people's snobbery. Your ideas in this are excellent.
They are well conveyed. Totally well produced. Interesting, fresh.
Reminds me of old Bauhaus.
Thanks for sharing and making your music! love, kelli
