Tomorrowland (1)
Description:
Second completed Song by Scotch Marley and I . The band is called The Naughty Five. (yes there are only 2 or 3 of us the rest are robots) I think we'll have about an albums worth by midsummer..

Lyrics:
Naughty-Five

(It's a small, small world!)

- I think I've come to heaven
It's 1997
- I think it's worth a listen
I think you're there, see for yourself

In 2005, you're half-alive

- I think I'm out of time
I think you're out of mine
Let's finish what you've started
Don't tear it up, don't tear it out

You'll write a song called "Naughty-Five"
(Why are they called the naughties?)
'Cuz when they start to play it
People will start to say it
They'll question what you've done
Then answer questions for themselves

They say you've come to change the world

In 2003 some bad things happen, and some good things to you

Now take it, what you know
And take it when you go
I put it all together
You put it right and prove them wrong

You get it done, you get it right
You get it going, and you let it run
And then you run into me

You'll write a song called 'Naughty-Five'

And when they start to play it
People will start to say it
They'll question what you've done
Then answer questions for themselves

Who thought a song could change the world?
They say that you did
And that you could
And that I would welcome you
Again
Welcome to Tomorrowland!

Does the 2 or 3 of you &mdash 01/22/06 - 07:22:02 PM
include multiple personalities.

Gotta say it's a kick ass riff- really like the way the vocal was done. Hard
rock done with taste and style. Also have to give you lots of credit for
getting some life out of the GB drum loops.

Yep &mdash 01/22/06 - 11:06:47 PM
dig the guitars nice tone reminds me of the 80's, vocals are pretty
good too I like the way you arranged them. The drum are sort of buried
but that may be intentional anyways good job dude.

Loops? Really? &mdash 01/23/06 - 09:31:46 AM
Maybe it's just the fact that you have implied a really driving rhythm with the gallop of the guitar, but it's easy to forget that the drums are loops. I'll concur with hacked_to_pieces regarding them being mixed back a little bit, but that's prolly an intended effect. Nice Foo Fighter-esque vocal sensibilities. Cryptic lyrics - or maybe it's just that I don't have my thinking cap on? Good, rockin romp.

wicked opening! &mdash 04/07/06 - 04:19:40 PM

love that opening! straight in there! you haven't gone for the most
obvious vocal style (i.e screaming) which i think works for it, very nice
production and a good confident mix, love it.
