Description:
Song in progress...I'm actually making a small film about the making of this song...How I do it in pieces and the painful process..hehe. Lots of screwups in this ..Like I said just a concept and there will be changes but I find it kind of catchy..

This is super-good! I would love to see the film and, of course, hear the song when you're done. Wow! This is really tasty, rock on with your bad self! [ Reply to This ]

Very catchy and well-performed, and the idea of getting a backstage peek
at your creative process would be super cool!

It's well-produced, yes, and I find it aurally pleasing. But it sounds much like generic rock, the sort of music you hear in snowboarding videos and cartoon shows where the main characters form a fictional band. [ Reply to This ]

Hey, that's funny...the song is actually about a few snowboarding buddies of mine that got together and formed a band. Except my friends are robots, not cartoons. And one of them is a pirate named John - an angry, confused robot pirate who is dealing with his strange, new feelings of 'self-awareness'.

This is exactly why I have Scotch sing on my songs..He can take a pretty vanilla song and add the right amount of WTF...
haha I do know what you mean though..The song is still very young...I think its a strong base to work from so we'll see where it goes.. [ Reply to This ]

And that's why the album is called 'Vanilla is my Gravity'. It's a big hit in Iceland, just not yet. [ Reply to This ]

Again, Solid! Very... Tight - A good road trip song and I'm thinkn' the top needs to be down for this trip. Also the drive is near some oversized pond; one that makes waves... Great rock tune.

can't wait &mdash 04/03/06 - 05:28:41 PM
its got a much fuller sound with the guitars than other submissions, so
i take it you've got the mic placement thing down, good saturation is
what i think the tech people say. i think its good so far. i didn't hear
any clams...if thst you playing all the instruments then kudo's ona job
well done...can't wait for the full vocalized version. the ending caught
me off gaurd :-) [ Reply to This ]
