Description:
I had just installed the new software instruments and started playing around with them. Later I accidentally overwrote the Garageband file and couldn't clean it up or improve on it, so here is the raw version from that session.

This one maybe has not so much of composition, but is rather beautiful
to listen to anyway because of the tasteful and balanced way you have
arranged all these beautiful sound. Downloaded and faved. [ Reply to This ]

Thanks, Cori. You are right. Not much melody, more of a sound experiment, mixing guitars, synths and strings. [ Reply to This ]

I'm not exactly sure what...peace or thoughtfulness. It has a good feel! [ Reply to This ]

Very well done, especially considering you were just 'playing around' :)
I really liked the blending of the two different melodies at the 2:20 mark.
It sounds like you really know what you're doing :)
Great!

Your mixing skill &mdash 02/13/07 - 10:49:11 PM
is very impressive. I hope to use this(or nearly anthing else you've posted) as a soundtrak for my home movies just to see how it works. Very pleaseant transitions. I really like the way you lay the rhythms down and the whole aural soundscape thing. I would like to know a little about your methodology; I can't even begin to do what you do. Great stuff. ...this nice upbeat song. the strings are just the right thing to tie it all together. i've attempted writing in this kind of style myself before, and after hearing your most excellent tune, i'm inspired to try yet again!
