Hmmm... some of you may not want to listen to me anymore after this... but I just had to do it!!! You just can't keep agression inside! It just builds up and... well... you'll see. (It's quite funny, actually)

WARNING: not for small children, animals, or people who don't adore bursts of wicked noise and screaming.

Most of the electronic sounds in this were produced live on a Sound Gizmo. The pulsed beats were added later in GB.

Oh, and no one was harmed in the making of this track, just a box (see artwork) and my freakin' vocal chords.

Sound Gizmo, cardboard box, wooden stick, video camera (for capturing sound), G4 Mac

Ok, you got me laughing. I happen to like these sorts of noise bursts, mr. suburban homeboy. Hilariously delicious.

Glad I made you laugh... It definitely makes me laugh... it's a good
tension release... feels good, you know? I just love noise.

then you wouldn't need caffiene!

Aw Stun... &mdash 01/27/06 - 07:32:06 PM
I don't believe it: you've gone commercial on us. Trying to get some
radio airplay? I thought it would never happen. This material is just so
formulaic, cookie-cutter. Well, if you succeed then probably deserve
what comes next: some Nashville Recording exec will pick this one up
and you will have to forever pump out New Country hits like this until
the industry deems you to be yesterday's news. I really wish you would
have stuck to your guns and kept on making music that was unique,
different, and...

Okay, that's about all I can type with a straight face. Actually, after
hearing this I could actually picture Kenny Chesney belting out "Pocket
Lizard." This is whack! But I knew it was in ya. Somewhere out there
Lemmy Kilmeister is cowering in a corner after listening to this. Frank
Zappa is turning his guitars into coffee tables (okay, I know he's dead,
but go with it). Way to just let it all hang out, Stun. Bravo.

p.s. I'm with _nderscore: downloaded!

You know what's funny...There is a Streetheart song called "One More Time"
that has the same beat. Too funny. You should find it and listen.

Cool &mdash 01/29/06 - 12:09:43 AM
I've heard stuff like this. In a way, it hearkens back to 50's/60's
electronic music by Stockhausen and Morton Subotnik. You'll like
Killa Dawgs:

I also noticed you dig Perrey & Kingsley. I've been into them for
years. Speaking of old analog artists, have you ever heard TONTO?

Cool &mdash 01/29/06 - 05:04:03 PM
Thanks... The Killa Daws were pretty good, yeah, I checked 'em out. Not
sure if I have ever heard of TONTO, though... I couldn't find them on a
quick search... did you say they were an old group?

I've got to burn this one to a CD so I'm ready next time some hip-hopper
pulls up next to me at a traffic light. I'll crank up this bad boy and blow
his teenage hip-hop butt all the way back to suburbia!

Ha hA! Let me know how that goes... before I posted this, I was playing
it over and over in my minivan... driving back from work and laughing!
I got a few interesting stares...

something tame and normal.
I like this much.

And this is over-the-counter stuff, you say... &mdash 02/01/06 - 01:08:29 PM
OOOOOOOOOOh you got me that time Gus... LOL I have my phones on
and there are others in the room... - I guess I'm making quite a racket
w/ my ear smacking noisy grin... And then what! after I download it - A
mood will strike me and I'll think, yea, that latest tune by Cup-a-
cheese..., that's what I need to hear... Or, how bout when it just pops
up in the mix, and seemingly out of nowhere - I'll make sure that this
doesn't end up in my bedside, 'I'm feeln' lucky' mix... LOL! Hmm, now
that I think about it, I kinda like all of these twisted little ideas.

Excellent piece of work, you - Thanks for the stir up - Cyd

wow. this made me feel extra gay and, perhaps, just a little too
lassez faire.
extra gay cuz i had to listen, and then put this track down for a
little while until i could sling back a little sake and listen again.
but my laidbackness is in question because i am now beginning to
wonder what would happen if i put my sometimes pent up rages
into auditoryism.
but beyond how this track made me feel comes the assurance that
this piece is pure STun- inventively structured (so much so that
there doesn't seem to be one. unless, wait....) and rythmically
orgasmic.

From the title (I am so totally changing my name, by the way) to the
carboard box and everything inbetween this is high creativity with none
of the musical goodness sacrificed to the hipness gods. It's music, it's
therapy and you can dance to it.

Awesome.

Pretty amazing noise here, extreme but quite funny too (the screams are
funny to me anyway). Music to play when your heap of a car breaks down
for the hundredth time!

Yeah, those screams make me laugh every time I listen to this... in fact,
when I made this I had to frequently take breaks to contain myself. Love
your name, by the way... similar to mine, at least in the way "Stunt" is
close to "Stun".
