Has a nice fun jam feel. You obviously have lots of guitar skills. As far as setting the bar high, you could be as high as you want with your abilities.
Recording:
Your getting crackle sounds on the solo track.
The bass seem buried behind the drums (could be my cheapo headphones).
Ideas:
After the turn arounds, you could swap the location of the solo and rhythm guitars. There are pan controls for each track in GB.
Just little post recording stuff to make the track more dynamic.
Great player, great blues

Thanks Bluz Some good constructive suggestions. I seemed to be having
problems with my new presonus firebox. Everytime I brought the levels up it
would get noisey. I hope I got it worked out now. I'll try your swapping panning
idea on my next tune. Thanx

The boy can play! That's some real sweet axe grinding there, Mr StratCat.
With a little TLC on the mix (what Alley-Oop said) this could be a totally
dynamite track. Bass is definitely buried in the back... barely audible. The
drums do dominate somewhat- the snare is way out in front. - now if
only I could give you some ideas on how to fix them. :-)

Thanks Man
Yeah my mixing, mastering and all production skills need a lot of work. I was
listening to it with a big subwoofer so the bass was plenty loud on my end but
after listening to it on my ipod your right it's weak. I just got some new monitor
speakers today. They have a more flat eq response. Next time I'm gonna mix on
them. Thanks for the suggestions.

Very bluesy! Dan A. and John B. would feel right at home.

You've got great technique and intonation. I like the different EQ
between the lead and rhythm guitar parts.

You sound a lot like ScorpJammer on this site, which is a compliment.
(His user name might be Scorp.)

Thanks John I'm not sure who Scorp is but I'll take it as a compliment. Is he on
this website? I love the blues I like all genres of music but the Blues is like home
to me.

I found Scorp's profile. He posted to one of my songs. He's a superb musician
with tons of chops. Thanks for the compliment.

shuffle on down the line! &mdash 02/18/06 - 03:41:16 PM
I love your guitar work bro. Tasty licks! Chicago Blues drum loops provide
a great horse for you to piggy-back your tastefully understated leads
over. This is very similar to my PENGUIN'S BLUES (wriitten in 1970). I'm
definitely a fan. Keep it up!
