Me and my friend Ian are huge Battlestar fans so one day i wrote this song sent to Ian to do vocals on and he called me one night and we got talking about battlestar and we both thought it was a good idea to write a song about Gyuss and Number Six's love affair....

It was definitely a good idea to write, well ANY song really! The guitars are well recorded and the "doubling" of the singing voice is very effective (does Ian have his own place here on MacJams? I'd like to hear more!). The soft synth layers add a nice flavor towards the end. The only thing I thought could be more interesting, is the drum beat, which seems just a little flat in comparison to the rest. Overall great job!

Thanx for the review i am not that good of a drum programmer, so i try to keep
it simple, thanx again...Ian is in a band called "spring clock wonder" i would
highly recomend checking it out...

I liked the tune ... but to be honest .. I think the MIX was a little hot ... I had to turn my headphones down somewhat cause of all the distortion I was hearing .... I rarely comment on mixing aspects because I don't know how to provide solutions ..... but the song is kewl .... I think its a software mixing issue ... you should talk to some of the bigger guns here on macjams about production issues ... cause this song could be better if the mixing issues were resolved .... its a good song and worth the time of gaining the advice of the pros in the mixing dept !

mellowness of this tune. i love that bass line that comes in and the synth
stuff is great. reminds me of Wilco.

Firstly, lovely guitar and vox, and nice structure. Agree about the drums, and maybe the song could use a little more subtle instrumentation (I loved when the keyboards came in).
But I love the lyric, and the fact that you've written kind of a love song about their relationship (which is pretty complex, to say the least, especially as No.6 only exists in his head).
Godd tune, great lyric idea - I'd definately buy this.

Wow wow wow wow!! This Was an incredibly beautiful piece!!!! but i have only heard the first 30 seconds yet...The streaming doesnt work good for me today, so im downloading it right now. Now im sitting waiting for the download to finish! The vocals really caught my attention!! Amazing Songwriting, you are going into my favourite list on your first song!! The guitarplaying is very good, love the sound from all the guitars!! Can ypu please post the lyrics? I would love to read them!! I dont here any distortion in the mix...... Good vocal, acoustic guitar sounds great but would have liked sound
level a tad lower. Electric guitar (lead) should come up in mix some.
Overall very pleasant song, nice unique sound, and excellent vocals!

of one of our last space walks.....nebulous creatures all around....looking up and looking down....hearing the vacuum of sound....this is a great tune and everyone and I mean everyone needs to watch Battlestar Galactica!!!! I especially like the bass work, the clarity of the acoustic guitar
strumming, it gives everything a holy importance. The careful, light
harmonies also add just the right touch. So many little things to give this
track a crystalline purity, like a prayer. I'd really like the lyrics posted,
tho, and the stereoized ending wasn't needed, like a trick added to such
honesty, kind of jolted me. I wonderful track.
