Cool little song here.... &mdash 02/01/06 - 09:53:36 AM
and it doesn't matter that I can't understand a word of it.
The tight vocal harmonies are done really well, Ronnie. And
that guitar solo is super... understated and fits perfectly the
mood of the song. Good one Mr. T!!

Sounds like turkish to me:)
It's a song perfect for late nights, having a beer with friends in Ankara, Denver or some other nice place...
Now you've got me wanting to travel to a warmer place for a while... Its a bit cold for my taste, hear in Norway at the moment...
Well done, mate [ Reply to This ]

Great last time... &mdash 02/02/06 - 04:08:46 AM
I remember this... &mdash 02/02/06 - 08:48:04 AM
...song from before. It's very complelling. The singing is beautiful. The language adds to the allure. The muted somber vocal approach is perfect. Lot's of emotion. Harmonies are soothing. The solo adds a tasty touch.
Seems all the sounds is dead center. Separation could have added some dynamics. On a personal note, obviously one might not travel with a whole arsonel of guitars, I would have liked to hear a classical nylon string guitar used. The warmth and muted tone of the classical seems to be a better fit, rather than the bright, nuance intensive Ovation.
great tune, D/L [ Reply to This ]

Glad to see this one back up! &mdash 02/03/06 - 07:59:16 AM
I remember it first time round (and fortunately downloaded it before
it got deleted, so it's been on my iPod ever since).
It's a great song. What a lovely low voice you have. Perfect for a piece
like this. The fact that I don't understand a word of it doesn't diminish
the listening pleasure at all! [ Reply to This ]
