Description
This is the third movement of "From Alpha to Omega".

The first two movements are:
1. The Creation
2. The Garden of Eden

In this piece I experimented with composing note by note in the editor and using Musical Typing to play violins, english horn, and the tuba.

WARNING! There is one part that is very loud and comes very suddenly. Do not use headphones at high volume. Damage to eardrums could occur.

Enjoy and God bless,

Rick

Hmm
Can you be more specific Kevin? If you are talking about discordance, it was
woven into the piece intentionally.

God bless,

Rick

Adam & Eve blew it
Rick, you captured it all magnificently- the innocence in the Garden,
the slimy snake entering in to entice Adam & Eve with the lie, their
sneaky decison and ensuing judgement (that really startled me!) their
leaving the Garden, the sadness of manking resulting from the fall.
Time marching on...Waiting... I can hardly wait to hear the next part of
your symphony. You really know how to tell a story without any words!!

disco(rd)
See what you mean about the loud bit - bloody hell.

That aside, this is really nice work, and a great build up and structure - I like how it starts mellow and becomes discordant.

Sort out the volume/ distortion and this'll be great.

Thanks Steve. According to the levels in GarageBand, the only part that goes into
the red is the boom of the kettle drum in the middle section, and that is only for
a split second (ergo, the warning about eardrums). That was intentional--for
emphasis. Is it that distasteful?

God bless,

Rick

and again...
Rick. May God bless this endeavor and give you the strength to see it
through. When all six parts are completed I definitely want to download
this and burn it onto disc.

I tried musical typing on some of my earlier recordings. It was awkward
and it was hard to keep time. I bought a cheap Yamaha PSR-170 keyboard
(only $100). Inexpensive and much easier to use. I also am on a very
limited budget.

I look forward to the next three movements.

Thanks Michael. Yes, musical typing is a challenge. I should be getting my MIDI
controller next week. It will be nice to have a keyboard with at least semi-
weighting.

God bless,

Rick

Stong stuff
Ohh, that was strong stuff, not only considering the theme, but you also
managed to depict a mood of seductive danger in the midst of all the
harmonious beauty.

This is just getting better and better!
Looking forwards to hear more!

... and like the others befrore me I dont leave any vote ... feels kind of
awkward to "vote for the snake", strange at is sounds, but it is some kind
of feeling ... the tune in itself deserves the greatest award ...

I understand Curry, that's why I closed the voting booth. :-)

I am so glad that you stopped by to comment. Your opinions mean so much to
me.

God bless,
