Lyrics
The winter was spent
Shining shoes
That were meant
To walk away from you
And I don't know what's come over me
I'm losing hope
That this is all a dream
Am I over you?
Are you over me?
If this is true,
Can we just make believe
Somewhere on the bleakest night
You whispered things would be alright
And I felt like a kid
Somewhere once within these walls
You played your songs so loud that the neighbors called
And I was glad that you did
Somewhere I saw in your eyes
A light that danced in time with mine
And we were three sides of a pyramid
The winters dark chill
came at a cost
And now our mouths are filled
With words as cold as frost
And I'm so lost...
So you moved out there
To where palm trees grow
And left me here
Under skies of snow
And I can't decide
What feels worse
Getting left behind
Or skipping church
Cuz I don't know
If I still believe
Praying for what I want
Is really what I need
What do I need?
We were three sides of a pyramid
Shining shoes
That were meant
To walk away from you
And I don't know what's come over me
I'm losing hope
That this is all a dream
Am I over you?
Are you over me?
If this is true,
Can we just make believe
Somewhere on the bleakest night
You whispered things would be alright
And I felt like a kid
Somewhere once within these walls
You played your songs so loud that the neighbors called
And I was glad that you did

We were three sides of a pyramid

guitar and vocal. The former clear and crisp. The latter beautifully
executed (Michael Stipe-ish in places). I really like the vocal harmonies a
lot.
