Description
This song was written and recorded on Easter Sunday 2005 after having watched The Passion Of The Christ. The movie was powerful, and I wondered what it must have been like to have been Teenage Jesus. Anway, this song was written from the perspective of an immature teenage Jesus.

Lyrics
I don’t know my name
I don’t know my way
Somebody hold me tell me
It’s always the same

One of these days
I’m gonna know
Until that day arrives I
Don’t want to know

Mother Mother don’t you know that I’m not just your son
And Mother Mother won’t you tell me when it all is done
And Mother Mother one day you will have to let me go
And Mother Mother I can’t think what I don’t want to know
Mother Mother tell me when it’s done

I don’t know my way
And I don’t know my name
Somebody told me things are
About to change

One of these days
I’m gonna know
I think that it’s something inside that I
Don’t want to know

Mother don’t tell me things that I don’t want to know
I think it’s almost time but I don’t want to know
And Mother Mother don’t you know that I’m not just your son
And Mother Mother tell me when it’s done

And Mother Mother tell me when it’s done

Father you have told me things that I don’t want to know
It seems too hard for me and I’m not really sure
Father Father I know that I am your only son

Oh Mother Mother please tell me when it’s done
Oh Mother Mother tell me when it’s done
Mother Mother tell me when it’s done
Mother Mother tell me when it’s done

Tom mcrae/James blunt
This reminded me if a crossing between Tom Mcrae and James Blunt. Vocally... I like the strumming sound from your guitar! The song is very beautiful, I wish that you had added some elements to lift it even more up as the song went on. There are also some times that i feel that your vocals should be further up in the mix. It seems like your voice are more then good enough for that!! I hear that there is some noise on your your vocals and i understand that also might be the reason for hiding the vocals a little!! I would say if you are to put to vocals higher, you might have the noise there all the way through without having i compressor gate! Keep up the good work!!

Welcome to MJ
This song has a great melody and it just kind of sticks with you after you
hear it, it think your voice is what makes this song so compelling. The
way you are so laid back and don't take it over the top on a subject matter
that is so meaningful. It was very thought provoking to hear a take on
what might have been going through Jesus' head as a teenager. I never
thought about it before but I can only imagine that he didn't understand
what his role was and was apprehensive about what his future held and
the how the weight of the world truely was on his shoulders. Anyway,
thanks again for the song I hope to hear more from you in the future.
