Description:
Well, my first experiment with Logic Express... I moved because of the MIDI out thing... I must admit it's quite complicated compared to the cousin GarageBand, so take this tune as it is.. however the use of my little monster the Juno 106 helped this project a lot! this track remember me of the 80s era and Eddy Murphy's adventures, so that's where the name come from! This is the full lenght club version, with a huge break in the middle and an amazing sound reprising... not the usual 4/4 beat from me, just something different.. enjoy :)

Buon giorno, Andyfox! This song was a lesson in round synth tones and 808 drums. My friend had a Juno 106 - he and I had the greatest time messin' with the infinite sounds you could get out of that thing. You described the genre perfectly. I really dug what sounded like the randomizer making the fast moving dropping tones toward the end (it first appears after the huge buildup about 2/3 through). The very end got slightly clipped ... if you ever remix, consider letting that last beat breathe some. A fun trip down memory lane for me!
P.S. I was in your city last May ... perfetto! [ Reply to This ]

I think I didn't say it right - it's not that the channel clipped because of high level, it's that the mp3 cuts off in the middle of a drum sound making for an abrupt stop. I think your levels were cento per cento fine! You just have to leave a little empty space at the end so that last hit can breathe. [ Reply to This ]
another great one! &mdash 03/16/06 - 12:40:15 AM
damn I can't believe I miss all your tunes when they were posted, I really like this one too - 'd be very great (well to my wicked mind) to add some vocals, but not dance-like vocals, no I'm thinking about hip hip stuffs : so that'd be some nice retro futuristic electro hip hop danse!
where are you in Italy? [ Reply to This ]

Oh yeah, a medley with an hip-hop artist could be done very well! I'll browse our
special MJ artists catalogue... :)) I'm from the north-east part of Italy, near
Venice... look at my profile :) [ Reply to This ]
