Description:
This is an instrumental kinda of new age sounding thing. I was trying out my new M-Audio midi controller. I have no abiilities whatsoever on keyboard but I came up with this little melody while trying to play a major scale. I played a few arpeggios on my Taylor and added a bass part and doubled the melody of the synth parts on my strat and came up with this. This is way differen't then the usuall stuff I record. I let the music lead me instead of my trying to impose a chord structure and then jamming. This time I came up with the melody first and then put down chords to it. It's interesting what you come up with when you take this approach. IT's a real simple tune. Mr Max is my dog and I thought the tile funny. IT would sound pretentious if I called it stratcats opus. It's hardly an opus at all just a simple little melody.

Good for you. Just for the Love of it. Best way forward, finding things
that you weren't even looking for - sometimes called "The Creative
Process", which many established Artists can find totally Daunting.

Looking forward to where this kind of thing takes you.

Bravo.

Best to You,
rtc
