Description:
This song was slightly bitter.... written and recorded in May 2005, just a few months into my divorce.

Lyrics:
Hey now baby
What’cha thinking baby
You are hard to read

I know you have needs
What do you believe?

Hey now honey
Do you want money?
To buy lots of things

Is that what you need?
Is that what you believe?

Money comes and goes
Replacing worn out clothes
And food for you to feed

Later in the day
When there’s nothing left to say
Just what is it you need?

Choo Choo pop pop
Everybody stops
The train’s at full speed

When else do you think?
About what you really need?

Money comes and goes
Replacing worn out clothes
And food for you to feed

Later in the day
When there’s nothing left to say
Just what is it you need?

Money comes and goes
Replacing worn out clothes
And food for you to feed

Later in the day
When there’s nothing left to say
Just what is it you need?

Money comes and goes
Replacing worn out clothes
And food for you to feed

Later in the day
When there’s nothing left to say
Just what is it you need?

It certainly does! &mdash 02/07/06 - 12:01:38 PM
Well done. Is that a mandolin alongside the guitar? They play off each
other well in this. Flowing yet rhythmic. Good lyrics. I frankly don't hear
the bitterness---just good sense! Thanks for this one.

No mandolin. All I used was my acostic guitar (and I believe I added a second guitar track overlay). The only other accompaniment was a bass guitar and tamborine.
I am having difficulty with the levels on the bass buitar.
