Description
I redid the levels on all tracks because you, my MJ friends, reported that some parts were distorted. Hearing loss prevents me from hearing it. Please let me know if the distortion is gone.

This is the third movement of "From Alpha to Omega".

The first two movements are:
http://www.macjams.com/song/16795">1. The Creation
http://www.macjams.com/song/17195">2. The Garden of Eden

In this piece I experimented with composing note by note in the editor and using Musical Typing to play violins, english horn, and the tuba.

God bless,

Rick

Well
Well, the crash part was distorted in the previous version, but I felt that
added an expressional quality to the theme ... I dont know which version
is best ... will be interesting to hear what others think ... (maybe there
were other distorted passages too, that I didnt hear?)

Well
Hi Curry. There was distortion in many parts, most notably in the middle. I
found that my master volume control was all the way to the right and both
channels were being clipped, especially during the Timpani run.

God bless,

Rick

sounds OK
I don't hear any distortion. Sometimes it will depend on the stereo set up
of the listener Rick. I think this sounds fine, but you should probably get
more feedback from others as well.

Hi Mike. It should sound okay now, since I reigned in the parts that were
clipping. Thanks for commenting.

Good repost!
This was better, in my opinion. To be picky, i'd say that now the 'crash'
could be a touch louder, but not much. I like the tuba solo on the end.

Good repost!
Hi Kristy! Glad you stopped by. I always value your excellent critiques.

In retrospect, I agree with you and Curry about the 'crash' of the kettle drum.
It is supposed to portray the wrath of God coming down on Adam and Eve. I
will increase the velocity of that part, but I don't think I'll repost again. Two
posts for the same song is enough I think.

I'm glad you liked the tuba solo. That was me on musical typing trying to
show a dejected, shamed, Adam and Eve leaving the garden.

Thank you again.

God bless,

Rick
