I thought it was time for a blues tune even though I was feeling pretty good until my beloved Marshall literally went up in smoke. I got through one last take and had to go with it.

Who or what played the drums?

Thanks, the drums are all Drums on Demand loops with extra single hit cymbal loops added here and there.

Loved the guitar playing. Very nice jazz style with the cut offs in the
backing parts.

Although you used loops for the drum part, you did a phenomenal job of
maintaining interest and variety. Not easy to do.

Nice mellow blues vibe to this. Nice use of effects. Good melody. Nice
chops. Was checking out your hardware list, do you mic your amp or go
line in?

Thanks Stratcat, I have been micing my amps lately, I also have gone direct in the past using some of the presets in Tone Heaven. I place the SM-57 up close on one speaker and put the Octavia a couple feet back, from there I record each mic on separate channels and pan and blend during the mix down. Pretty standard but I like the fullness it gives, even though I keep looking for something even fuller. The Palmer allows you to crank the amp and take the load and from there the Crown power amp gives your speakers a volume that you can work with in a small room.
