Great work. Very smoothe. Loved the guitar playing. Very nice jazz style with the cut offs in the backing parts. Nice strat tone Thanks Stratcat, I have been micing my amps lately, I also have gone direct in the past using some of the presets in Tone Heaven. I place the SM-57 up close on one speaker and put the Octavia a couple feet back, from there I record each mic on separate channels and pan and blend during the mix down. Pretty standard but I like the fullness it gives, even though I keep looking for something even fuller. The Palmer allows you to crank the amp and take the load and from there the Crown power amp gives your speakers a volume that you can work with in a small room.
