Description:
i was feeling quite stuck with a song i've been working on, so i stopped and wrote this instead. written and recorded in less than an hour. so don't expect too much.

felt the need to purge. thought some early-90s powerchord simplicity would help. excuse the blunders, i didn't really rehearse. just had to get something done in a short amount of time before the new cats went crazy outside the music room door.

but it's not that bad, so i'll share it with you. i feel like selters will like it! :)

oh, and i just realized it's valentine's day... so pretend i knew that already and think of it as a happy love song!

Pretty good for a one-mic get-it-out song... I liked the lyrics the best,
and think this might be a good song to build the chords/backing on and
re-record. Definitely a lonely seagull song, but sometimes those are
necessary to sing.

sometimes when you're in a rut, and it seems like there's no way out, you
just come up with something that almost writes itself, and then all of a
sudden ... no rut. plus, i like this song! btw - not implying that you're in
a rut, just the comments about being stuck on a song rung true with me.

I like this song! Because its not tight! Killer Chorus on this! It is subtle, but yet agressive! I can hear though that you are not doing a performance as blistering as i know you can, But i assume thats quite normal.. The first recording always has something special, but also some rough edges :). I love your voice, and im looking forward to hear this again1

yeah, i'm sure i could do a better performance now that i've rehearsed the song - i didn't know if i even liked it when i recorded it... now i see that there's maybe potential in its simplicity, so maybe i'll redo it at some point.
