Pretty simple set-up - Fender pie-plate guitar fitted with a mini-
humbucker, Marshall BB2 pedal (which may not have been on) (I did 16
beds in 10hrs and honestly can't remember), Fender Blues Junior amp
with Greenback Celestion speaker, Shure SM57 mic. Brass slide. Crank it
'til you can't quite control the guitar and Bob's your father's brother.

I like the vibe on this - I agree with the JL Hooker comparison (I also hear
ZZ Top, but of course, they got it from Hooker, who probably got it from
someone else, who got it from ...).

that is sure some funky bluesy slidey tone,I tried a Fender Blues Jnr last year at my local Sound Control shop,the bloody thing was broke.....but was okay at low volume, but hearing it here it may be theanswer to my quest for a certain sound.Great job here by the way.......
