hey sam - thanks for your comment - i've never liked being obvious & i love it
when a song makes me dig a little deeper than the surface - it draws me in -
due to the efx on the vox it is a bit of a challenge to make out the lyrics but i
added the vocal track as another instrument in an attempt to create some
texture - again thank you for your interest - <^>

True, reducing the vocal effect would lean toward more clarity in
understanding the lyrics for first time listeners, and would increase its
rating on the pop value charts. Don't.

If the effects remain as they are, the voice here is an instrument that
after multiple, continuous, listenings lets enough of the words through
and still remains part of the song rather than riding on the music.

Comprehension is just fine, battling the meaning masking effect is part
of the reward as the listener interprets the song. It is clear enough
even if you don't cheat and read the lyrics section, although I am sure
that will be helpful next time I spot this in a karaoke joint!
