Fairie Grove

Description
OK, it's in this category cos I had no idea where to put it....

This is me (yes, finally) playing the harp - I had an image in my mind of a medieval-style fairie sitting in a grove, and along comes a human whom the fairie snatches up and takes back into the mists to the Land of Fairie. This was completely improvised. And I need to find a way of positioning my mic so it's near the sound box but not in the way of my arms....

Fairy by the Creak...
I love the initial creak (of the chair/stand) before you play... gives a warm
feel to the recording. By improvised, you mean this was a first take,
unrehearsed? Pretty cool! The rambling melody has sort of a dreamy
quality... I like the pauses here and there. I have no idea how to play a
harp, so have no real critique, I just listened and drifted away, so I guess
you were successful in snatching *me* up. The recording sounded a bit
muffled, but not too bad.
