Description:
this is a really quiet love song i wrote about when i fell in love with a girl from america when she studied over here, and it was weird cuz we always knew that one day we'd both be on the other side of the world from each other, but we still put ourselves through that and stayed together until reality tore us apart.
ah, the tragedy of youth!
heh. im not emo, i swear!

Excellant performance!
The sound was crisp and real. Like you were in my living room singing,
live.
i love the lyrics, and the energy, of the way you are feeling about the
person really comes out in this song.
The guitar work was really good.
What kind of guitar do you have? Sounds like steel strings for sure.
Encore!

Pleasantly surprised! &mdash 02/19/06 - 04:42:32 PM
Nice chord progression. Well played. Winsome Chris DeBurgh-ish vocals
icing on an already tantalyzing cake of sound and mood. Thanks.

I gotta love that guitar. I love the chord changes. Vocals are amazing. I bet all the record labels would love this.

Never say never .... &mdash 02/21/06 - 07:36:15 PM
I like this tune ... very mellow and nice .... hey ... I live in Canada .... I met my (ex now) Italian Husband on a Cruise Ship ... he was shipped back to Italy ... we both went to England to be together and lived there for three years ... I married him in England and we both came back to Canada .... Distance isn't always a hindrance to relationships !

Another excellent song, David. &mdash 02/24/06 - 05:11:55 AM
You have an exceptional voice. The guitar here is well done and the
recording is very good. I too have a story of a love that drifted apart
because of physical separation (my getting out of Navy and returning
to US). Also, she was young (22) and I was stupid. :)
I'm not sure if you got my e-mail last weekend - my main computer's
hard drive decided to stop working while I was posting it.
Regarding your previous question about production in a song of mine
- if you have particular production techniques you'd like to learn, there
are a number of good producers here who read the forums and would
be happy to share tips.
