I made this picture thinking what a lucky guy. He has a girfriend who cares about him. I was in a combat zone for 258 days and had no girlfriend or a wife at the time. A pretty lonely feeling.
This tune is not intended to be protest music. But expressing more of a romantic longing feeling.

Thank you for posting, but much more, THANK YOU for serving. I travel quite a bit, and see many troops on the way out, on the way in, young, older.... I take every opportunity to shake their hand and express my thanks. Most express THEIR gratitude in return, such a small return for their sacrifice.
