Description:
a poem that i added a simple guitar part to and sang. i think i messed up the words in one part, so ill have to go back and fix that in time, i got the idea of having someone add harmonica or something to this. i heard it sounds a little bob dylan ish

Lyrics:
underneath the trees
dark heavens opened up
rains began to fall

leaves began to dance
to the sounds of symphony
swaying to the drops

remember a time of safety
crows began to sing
held in loving arms

remember a starry night
with in a grass field
tears of love were seen

upon the bench known
comfort and protection
your fears became erased

you were a gypsie
under the summer sun
now we've disappeared

i was comfort, security
whispers in your mind
now, im pain and anger
that tear you deep apart

You need more variation &mdash 02/21/06 - 04:52:54 PM
Either in your voice, or the rhythms or chord selections. I say this because
almost all of your songs sound very alike to me- almost as if they are
slight variations of the same tune.

That said, your voice is getting better- it's more in tune and confident
sounding. I think you should start working on expanding your vocal range
some... it's an easy way to add variation and more power to a song. It
sounds like you've found a comfort zone- now is the time to step out of it
and take the next step in your musical evolution.

actually this is the only song i have that stays in one area. all my other songs have really high parts, i just did this as a simple tune quickly as to more bring out the words. but then, i haven't posted the new recordings of my songs, so i s'pose you wouldn't know that i've been singing in a ton of different keys. thank you for the comment, and i play to add variation, this is sort of just a quick little thing i did in about 10 min.

is overall good...i was going to say the same as aclarke, but i read your
reply, and it makes sense, for what you put into this, it is pretty good,
the slight variation at end was a nice change (nice mouse click at the
end) :) hehe

thank you for the comments, i'm going to develop this more, this is the first sketch of it. i'm trying to add more variations to all of my songs, as im figuring out what keys work for certain songs its making it easier. im going to start trying to get up some more updated recordings over the next month or so.
