very rocking, and good lyrics. i think the melody good use some more, it's a bit monotone not that i can talk as i am a rather monotone singer, but it seems like entire lines are sung at one pitch. other then that it's a rocking great song., [ Reply to This ]

from the temp tracks you sent me to get bass onto. It really has come
together nicely. Adam and Pete's vocals add so much - as to the
toughened up guitars. Always loved the lyrics. Saw yesterday in the SL
forums that there's a group offering a service to add drama to

Love the harmonies on the vocals and guitars. Makes me wonder when
the next Smithereens album is coming out.
You need to get a live drummer to really push this over the top (wouldn't
hurt to punch up the bass sound a smidge too, IMHO). [ Reply to This ]

Nice one guys! Love Melvin's solo vox, and Stumpy's lead - this
sounds like it must have been a lot of fun to do. That's some pretty
mean guitar work Snow!! I'm just trying to picture Snow, Kaklick,

What's cool about this is it's kind of a timeless rock 'n' roll song -- any
time since the 60's this here coulda happened... Which makes the Tommy
James ref all the more appropriate. Liked the guitar work, but the drum
arrangement could indeed stand some sprucing up. I would invite you to
consider ways to add some dynamics to this -- maybe a measure or two
where it drops down in intensity, just so it can come in all the more ragin'
after. Also, since the whole '60's punk thing comes into play -- how
about a rave-up section at the end?
Of course, you know better than anyone what your song should do, these
