Description
This is the first Ambient piece that I wrote in GarageBand shortly after getting my new iBook G4 several months ago. I was just kind of playing around with the different sounds I could get out the software drums which is the reason for the lack of coherent structure in this work. I think it has some interesting moments though. Let me know what you think.

gong
the gong sound seems a bit too loud. in the beginning it seems to have a bit of a pause before the song actually starts that confused me. if you went and put a part from the beginning after the ending you could give it more structure, its nice that it changes, but to hear atleast one part again would make it seem more like a song.

gong
Yeah, I agree, the gong was/is too loud. But as I stated in the description, I was just playing around, this was all improvised with very little editing after the fact. There will be more pieces to follow. I was just anxious to get something up to get my name out there. This was my first posting.

I know it has flaws. If it is a turd, I don't think that I'm going to spend much time trying to polish it, if you know what I mean.

Thanks for the helpful comments though, and keep an ear out for my future postings.

Peace

cinematic
This a real moody little beast. The only thing i'd lose i the whistle, as it doesn't suit the track. I could hear voices kinda chanting or 'ahhhing', and maybe a solo violin/ cello.

It's too short, definately worthy of further development, it has a really dark, cinematic feel.
