i love the subject of the song, and the simple sad piano. the vocal style fits nicely, but could use a little work perhaps. but i just read the comic effect thing and i was thinking it made it rather comic as well. i like this. love the lyrics. i want to go snowboarding so sad havent gone in so long. 3 yrs to be exact.

this is a beautiful love song!! personally i hate ski-lifts - they scare the bejeepers out of me but then i feel the same way about the london eye, the eiffel tower and anything else that takes my feet away from terra firma!!! maybe you could write another one - just as pretty but.. dedicated to a pair of shoes!! thank you for sharing xox

haha that is awesome! i'm the same way with heights, but for some reason
not with ski lifts, maybe thats why i love them so much...haha well i
appreciate the comment, i only hoped to express my love for ski lifts the best
that i could and i'm glad you could feel the emotion through the song! the
next ode apparently has to be dedicated to the monkee! but there is no
reason that there shall not be an Ode to Shoes!

I worked as a ski lift operator in college. Needless to say it hits a little
close to home. ROFLMAO!

--in fact--I like them better than the ground. I went skiing only once--
but thats all it took for me to get off course and run into a bush. That is
why I think I like ski lifts better ---safer--happier--friendlier...

Anyway--very creative piece/lyrics. I'm sure ski-lifts are running more
smoothly all over the world--because now they have finally received the
respect and appreciation they deserve. On behalf of them....thank you.
