Description:
Live off the studio floor.
This started as a re-write of Frankie and Johnny, purely as an exercise. It's become a FUN song. Jason and Dan again. This one may have a BIG change before it's finished (musically, not lyrically). Again, due for vocals and a remix.Mandi, I think this is the one about you.

Lyrics:
It was a quiet night on the prairie
yup

And then my hound begin to howl, and the hair it rose on my head;
The clock struck midnight and the blues walked in dressed in red..........

Hardware:
Live band, pie-plate guitar, Fender blues Jr amp, Marshall fuzzbox (set to clean boost) (I think)

That's the first thing that my brain shouts at me Mr. R. Loved that
slide... As much as I did, I liked your voice in the mix, but wanted to
hear it better. It sounded like you were right on w/ your cadence and
and all, so I would crank the volume on your vocals though. Some very
wicked playing man. Really nice. And now I know that I will come
begging to you one day to hang out w/ me on a tune. I really got into
this one. It's been a long time since I had a thrist for a shot of whisky,
but this tune headed me in that direction...

Thanks for helping out in the forum Rover and thanks for the link to
this, but it failed some reason w/ the message: contact the admin of
the server. - don't know...

Awesome &mdash 03/01/06 - 08:09:02 AM
Sounds like it could be from Pulp Fiction. I don't usually get far enough
southwest to listen to music of this style, but I'm glad I ended up here.
Cydniko's always told me to drop my country vendetta. I think I'm
starting to like it...Just none of that pop BS.

Thanx guys &mdash 04/28/06 - 12:15:10 AM
sorry for taking so long - health problems are laying me a little low at the
moment - yup I'm available for slide or whatever, but can't guaruntee
delivery times - if I'm up and running I'm usually quite quick, but health
stuff can be a bit unpredictable (it's not life-threatening, more about the
side-effects of being a crip). Thanx again for the kind words. Oh, and
whilst Alberta is in the West, it's a little North of Texas, though somewhat
similar. Plenty of praire, plenty of oil; faster women and better looking
horses - and a country/blues/roots scene that can stand comparison to
anybody's. I'll be saying more about this later. In the mean time, time
presses, so I must begone. Cheers, Shaky
