Description
Written about 15 years ago, give or take. Re-rendered in GB to check out that nice big grand sound. Did this mostly as a counterpoint study.

Nice, but short!
I am a fan of piano pieces(as you can probably tell by listening to most of my compositions), anyway, this one sounded to me almost like a piano lesson. Let me listen again, just to be sure.....well, sort of like a piano lesson, maybe more of an interlude, I guess. I was surprised at how short it was. Maybe try incorporating this into another song. It seems to me like it would work with something else added to it. Just an opinion, keep up the good work!

Ack!
Living in the city of music (Vienna) I have to say that I
found this like Bert Weedon's answer to the piano. Short
and sterile.
Please take XVERION's advice...and also change the piano
synth. The GB one is bad but can be tweaked with effects.

Thanks for giving me some real comments
As for the length, that's one reason it's named étude. It's a
little "study" that I did. By the way I fixed the file, so now it
rings out naturally instead of cutting off. I hate it when GB
does that on export (but it sounds fine when playing from
GB). I was tempted to use this as a springboard for playing
w/ some strings, but I decided to let it be. I've noticed
that it is actually my most downloaded song so far. If
you've downloaded it before midnight 5/28/04 you might
want to grab it again, to get it to ring out at the end.

Whoa.
Short and VERY sweet. I'm only disappointed by the
production. I wish it were CRYSTAL clear. PLEASE do a
weird WENDI CARLOS version of this with a moog or
something.

I'd love to hear it werid.

Whoa.
I just might do that for ya. :-)
I've got something bigger in the queue though, but I need to get my wife to
do some spoken tracks. It IS weird though.

Short and sweet with a lot of talent in that song.

Thanks for sharing your talent I can tell you spend a lot
of years playing. That so much needs to be brought out!
