kinda sounds like a mix of (brother down/carbon leaf/coldplay),
needless to say this is a great song, good professional sound to it, very
solid playing, great vocals, and a very enjoyable melody =
entertainment for me

this doesnt sound like a demo to me, it sounds more like a solid finished product. The mix sounds very balanced and all the sounds are crystal clear to according to my ear! All the playing and the vocals are very good, and i have to agree with moses that melody was very enjoyable! Great tune!!

You're right, we have one more mix to do on this song but it's pretty close to

i can hardly wait to hear the finished product - there is a fabulous voice in there - it reminds me so much of the proclaimers singing 500 miles that i've downloaded it as a quality piece that is up there with one of my favs - thank you for u/ling - nice work all round x

probably just teak the backround vocals a bit. Thanks for downnloading and

You guys sound tight. Very professional all around. I enjoyed it a lot but
I think perhaps it could use another element or two layering in there to
give it a little more build and variation as it progresses. I'm not sure but I
think it might sound better if the backing vocals were a harmony part.
Excellent performances, really.

I really liked this one! Have you thought about adding a crunchy
Telecaster to double the guitar parts? Kind of an Eagles type of tone? It
should give you more definition to the "chuga-chuga" parts and add
some sparkle.

The vocals are awesome, and drums not overplayed...but I bet live it
gets nuts!!

Good performances all around and well-mixed.

I hear some spaces that would suggest some lead guitar work or some
other instrumentation, but that's just icing. The *reverse follow* in the
vocals is an interesting twist, but you might also want to try backing
harmonies with it.

But all in all, nicely done with a fairly tight sound. ;-)

I have to say it's a great song. The voice, the recording/mixing are great.
It's actualy good enough to compare with professional players.

The only thing I would suggest would to put less back vocals at the
begining of the song. It would put the great voice foremost at the
begining and create a buid-up during the song...

Continue like that, you're on a "goood track" :-)

but there does seem to be something missing in that instrumental break. a solo of some kind. dig the non-resolution at the end. solid, pro work here. You are obviously upping the ante at Macjams.

Sounds like Coldplay, but....better:-) I think you have enough novelty in
here to say it's distinctly your sound and not just a reminder of somebody
else's music.

Drums and guitars are very well played and the vocals are just right, not
overdone. Agree with pgreenstone to add harmony.

...a bit like Coldplay - especially the vocals in certain places.
A very full, nice sound you've got going here - very radio ready, if you ask
me.
I really dug the bass grove (not that I didn't like the other aspects of this,
because I really did).

A very solid track!

All the original ideas in the world can fit on a postage stamp. So who
cares if you have influences...don't we all? The fact is the song is great,
the chorus, though reminiscent of Coldplay's falsetto, is catchy, and
production makes this a mainstream pop radio hit. Keep at it--there's
room for you guys out there. Downloaded and podded.

kudo's. harmonies!!! now thats something we need more fo here at
MJ's. the lead vocal reminds me a little of Dave matthews (hope thats
ok to say). I like the style you project in these tunes. well done!
