Description:
A Blues Tune describing the addiction to MacJams and Garage Band

Lyrics:
It's early in the morning and I ain't yet been to bed. I got one more track to lay down runnin' through my head. I can't remember the last time I was fed. It's this crazy life I choose. It's this allways tired mixed up crazy life I choose, but I wouldn't have it any other way, Livin' them MacJam Blues.
Ah the sun is peeking out and I'm still wide awake. I can see that ole sun peeking out and I'm still wide awake, but I can't get no rest yet. I still got one more take.
Another day has come. Another day has gone. Ah you know another day has come, another day has gone, ah but I got to keep at it. Just got to finish this song. It's this crazy life I live, crazy life I choose. It's this always crazy mixed up life I live, crazy life I choose, but I wouldn't have any other way. Livin' these MacJam Blues.

You nailed it man! &mdash 03/04/06 - 12:47:43 PM
I know exactly what you're taking about. Once I went seven days with little
food or sleep because i was working on a 15 minute loop tune. It can get
nuts! The MacJams blues really alters one's lifestyle. I wonder if guys like
SKEAN or CYDNIKO ever get out of the house.

This is a great piece. Well played. Fantastically sung. Authentic! As always,
I envy your blues licks.

Awesome! &mdash 03/04/06 - 02:51:20 PM
So true! I spend all my time working on new and interesting music. It's great to see someone using that in their tunes! I am new to this site, but I see that you live the same musical life I do! Great job!

Well Put! &mdash 03/04/06 - 09:07:46 PM
And nicely done. You said a mouthful, stratcat. I'm just sitting down at my Mac. It's 11:20 PM EST. The night is young and I'm just gettin' started!

Love that swing in your blues.

keepin' this one, for sure.

Thanks for sharing.

Thanks everybody &mdash 03/04/06 - 10:40:31 PM
The Conductor, Amboo and Scorp. Thanks for listening to the tune. I
knew everybody could relate to the lyrics of this song. No matter what
genre of music you prefer, Mac Jams is an addiction, but it's a positvie
addiction. As long as you occasionally eat, sleep or reconnect with the
rest of your family it should have no ill effects. Glad you guys like the
tune.

Sweet Strat Tone &mdash 03/05/06 - 08:07:13 PM
I like the traditional blues sound you achieve with your set up. Nice
swingin blues, tasty harmonica licks. Vocals sound great, simple but very
effective.

You really know the blues &mdash 03/11/06 - 09:07:34 AM
You really know the blues, no mimicing blues but you truely live it. That's
why I like it so much. Besides you are creating such a nice groove! This is
another favourite of mine from you, thank you!

I believe I know what you mean with the MacJams Blues. Had a period during last
year when I actually got seriously worried about my behaviour ...

Thanks Johannes &mdash 03/11/06 - 09:43:31 AM
That's high praise comming from you Johannes. If I were half as good on electric
guitar as you are on acoustic, I would be famous. There's lots of really good
electric guitarists out there. Many here on MacJams, but few have mastered
acoustic guitar as you have. Thanks for listening.

Down With It - Macjams Jones &mdash 03/12/06 - 04:05:48 PM
Yeah, when the clock just doesn't make any sense anymore.

Say. Fabulous Sound Stage set up here. No pushing or shoving, just
good room for everything. The Harp is OUTTA Here good, being really
well placed tonally and rhythmically. Could have listened to another 15
minutes of your lead - which I think is the coolest and sweetest (and
best Tracked) guitar work to date. Excellent stuff.

Balance is Pro Level and wraps around the cool Lyric delivery perfectly.

Really fine piece.

Best,
Cooper

Down With It - Macjams Jones &mdash 03/13/06 - 01:22:36 PM
Thanks Coop. I'll bet I haven't picked up a harp in three years, but I have quite afew of them laying around so I thought I would record with one. It took quite a few takes and a lot of cutting and pasting to get one decent harmonica solo. I used to play in a blues band years ago and the keyboard player was a great harp player, He sounded a llot like Butterfield. When I heard him play I put my harps away lol. Anyways glad you like the tune man thanks for the comments.
