Love the synths &mdash 03/04/06 - 09:03:26 PM
I'm an old Styx fan, so I love these synth sounds. And the Hammond
B-3 reproduction is not too bad, either.

I can imagine some very interesting CGI cartoons dancing to this track.

Sounds like you're playing keyboard live, or at least not using loops --
maybe you're using the pencil tool. In any case, you have created a
very interesting track.

Nice work, Dayve!

Love the synths &mdash 03/05/06 - 12:55:31 PM
Thanks a lot! You might want to check out Sequence Element One (http://
www.macjams.com/song/18522).
I'm not playing keyboard, I used the pencil in the editor and keyboard typing.
The main riff is a drum loop from GarageBand that I put in, and then changed
the instrument to that organ. The actual drums are mostly loops, I made some
of them myself, and I put together the intro part myself as well. Thanks for
commenting!

I think I know what you mean by the dancing CGI animations.

robotic? &mdash 07/08/06 - 06:21:55 PM
this seems to be built from an algorithm. (that's good imho.) did you use
some set of rules or something to create it? it doesn't seem random, but it
doesn't seem "human" either (if you know what i mean). it's i guess
robotic.

a very interesting work. well worth a second listen.
