Beautiful Thanks so much! I, also, come from irish/scotch heritage, and my when my grandmother (who was Irish through and through) died a month or so ago, this song was all I could think about until I layed down a recording of it. Glad you enjoyed it. Check out my latest song called For Kris

Hey I like how you've sang this, sounds great. I like the presence acappella brings out. But i'd also agree on turning down the reverb and effects. I think it would bring your voice out a bit more. Check out my latest song called 'More than Enough'

Very nice Amber. This song brought back memories of my father,
Comming from a Scotch, Irish backround he would play this song often.
This is a lovely version of it. I think your voice is strong and pretty
enough that you could of lightened up on the effects processing i.e.
reverb and delay, but thats just my taste, This is very ethereal sounding, I
feel like I'm standing naked when I perform at an open mic night with just
an acoustic guitar. I can't imagine singing acccapela like you do, but you
have the vocal chops to pull it off. Good Job!
