Hey, Rik...
You have done a very impressive job with this interesting piece of music,
filled with so many different movements and dynamics... to make it sound
convincing --- and authentic.
Excellent, beautiful work. [ Reply to This ]

The more I listen to this, the more I hear. Thank you for considerig my
opinions, especially since I've never written any symphonies. I'm
putting all 4 parts of your symphonyon CD. [ Reply to This ]

Roxy, you don't need to know how to write a symphony in order to know what
you like to hear. I am indeed indebted to you for whatever contributions you
make. Also, leave some room on that CD; there will be two or three more
movements> :-)
God bless,

Awe inspiring... &mdash 03/05/06 - 03:26:51 PM
during the second half of this my eyes teared over and I couldn't stop
shuddering (a good thing). You fought the good fight and won on this
piece Rick. Spectacular.
I'm praying God will continue to bless and strengthen you unto the
completion of this symphony. [ Reply to This ]

Thanks Mike! It is always a high compliment to an artist when he or she learns
that their work touched a heart. I thank and praise God for giving this piece to
me and for speaking through me.
God bless,
Rick

Well done, Rick &mdash 03/05/06 - 06:30:46 PM
This is a great track, Rick. Could be a soundtrack for a Passion Play
movie. Very inspired choice of loops throughout.
God bless you,
John
P. S. The midrange strings (cello, viola) are especially affecting. [ Reply to This ]
Well done, Rick &mdash 03/08/06 - 09:49:20 AM
Thank you John. It is indeed an honor for me to receive such nice comments
from an inspried artist such as yourself.
Btw, although this piece started out with loops, I edited many of them to
better compliment what I wanted to say, and I played original phrases on the
keystation 61es, such as all flutes and the nailing of Jesus to the cross. I hope
it all blended well enough to be indistinguishable from the stock.
God bless,
Rick

Going from strength to strength &mdash 03/11/06 - 10:05:28 AM
You are going from strength to strength, or with the swedish
equivalent; you are going from clarity to clarity...
Really exciting to follow your symphony growing. Even if it was a while
since I listened to the early movements I get the feeling it all goes
together quite well.
And the theme is the most important one!
God Bless You Rick!
